This ornament was conceptualized by Lloyd Marcus, president of the Deltona Arts and Historical Society.  After being contacted by Congressman Tom Feeney (24th Congressional District in Florida),  Mr. Marcus designed the piece which incorporated intricate seed bead ornamentation.  Not a beader, Mr. Marcus sought advice from an Orange City bead store, Flamingo Beads.  The owners of this store recommended me to execute his design.   The actual ornament is a round ball measuring 9" in diameter and the beaded pieces needed to lie snugly against it's curves.  It took me approximately 8 days to complete, working from 10-12 hours a day.
